What is Home and Personal Care Services?
Home and Personal care services refer to a range of support services provided to individuals who need assistance with activities of daily living within their home environment. At Pullinger Health, we endeavour to support our NDIS participants to re-discover their skills and develop new skills. The category of support we provide includes:
Life skills are crucial for personal development, well being and success in various aspects of life. These skills encompass a broad range of abilities that enable individuals to navigate the complexities and challenges of daily living effectively. These skills can be:
- organising the home
- developing routine of the day
- attending to hygiene
- preparation of meals
Life skills we did not seek NDIA registration:
At this point, we do not have NDIA registration for meal preparation, for NDIA managed participants, but for plan managed and self managed participants, we can provide the service.
Domestic assistance is help with everyday household tasks. Services we can assist with include dishwashing, house cleaning, clothes washing.
Assistance we did not seek NDIA registration:
At this point, we did not seek NDIA registration for bills paying and any assistance with finances.
How Pullinger Health can help?
Pullinger Health provides support, through person-to-person interactions, with empathetic and qualified support staff in the following areas for daily living and life skills development:

Culturally sensitve services. Currently, we have support staff from the Asian Chinese community. We will endeavour to match your cultural needs with the most appropriate support staff.

Development of life skills e.g. organising the home, mangaging routines, etc, to enrich each day. Pullinger Health cannot help with meal preparation at this time.

Development of self-awareness, self-improvement and confidence, and independence
